It was in the scrum, the maul, and the ruck on Rugby fields near and far that Matt Price became familiar with grass, all kinds of grass. So it was natural (no pun intended) that the part-time Flanker, and sometimes Lock, took a liking to SYNLawn. Now as President of SYNLawn of Central California, Matt brings the same game-time intensity and passion to the sales and installation of all SYNLawn products.

Purchased in January of 2006, his distributorship ranges from Santa Clara to Kern County, from the Central Coast to the state border, and features the only synthetic turf showroom in the area. This is a testament to Matt’s persistence in raising the level of play in synthetic landscaping. Delivering superior product and performance from school playgrounds to putting greens, Matt has a product line perfectly groomed for your specific residential or commercial project.

Blaine McQuown: VP of Sales

In the beginning Blaine McQuown spent most his time convincing customers his name was not Blair or Blake. Now, as the VP of Sales, Blaine leads a talented sales force serving all of Central California. His management and sales experience helped launch the success of SYNLawn of Central California, and he continues to keep installation crews on the move.

Blaine is responsive, accountable, and thorough from project evaluations and estimates to completion. For superior customer service including any day, anytime appointments and expert knowledge of all SYNLawn products, Blaine is your guy.

Tammy Price: Accounting

Tammy Price has been a key player for SYNLawn of Central California since its first installation in 2006. Tammy took the field with 25 years of experience in publishing and finance management for the Rental Guide Magazine of Central California, Madera, Kings and Tulare Counties.

So, it wasn’t unusual to see her promptly reconcile with vendors or deliver exceptional client service. It wasn’t unusual that every “i” was dotted and every “t” was crossed, ensuring the company be built on solid ground and stay that way. But what no one knew – how could anyone have known – Tammy was the toughest forklift driver this side of the SYNBlue.

Melissa McQuown: Marketing

Bringing work home took on a whole new meaning when Melissa McQuown installed SYNLawn in her backyard by the light of the moon on a Tuesday night. And they both survived.

Melissa is thrilled the synthetic grass beautifully holds its own against the barbaric, brute force and doggie drool of her bulldog, Rufus. And having firsthand knowledge of the product and its superiority, Melissa is a valuable asset to SYNLawn of Central California from the showroom to the job site.

In addition to impeccable customer service, she coordinates all advertising efforts using such mediums as television, radio, and print, as well as local and national home shows. Melissa’s talents are backed by 5 years of experience in production and design for the Rental Guide Magazine of Central California, Madera, Kings and Tulare Counties.

Danny Griffin

Danny Griffin joined the SYNLawn team in August of 2006 as the Installation’s Manager. As a long time friend of Matt’s he fell right into the swing of things, from the artificial turf to the nails he has perfected the installation to a tee. Prior to SYNLawn, Danny served two years in the United States Navy. Danny is a great asset to the SYNLawn team and leads a great installation crew.

Carlos Garcia

Carlos Garcia came aboard in September of 2007 and has easily become a part of the SYNLawn crew. With his hard work and jump to it attitude, Danny and him make a great installation team. Before coming to work for SYNLawn as a synthetic lawn installer, Carlos worked as a Warehouse Manager for eleven years. Carlos is married and has 2 children.

Dave McElaney

While Dave has been providing landscaping services since he was 12 years old, he has continuously sought out ways to maintain nice yards with minimal effort. SYNLawn fits perfectly into this vision by offering homeowners the benefit of nice looking lawns 365 days per year without breaking a sweat. Dave is also keen on introducing the benefits of synthetic turf to customers with backyard pools while also raising their entire backyard experience another notch. Most home pool owners don’t realize that fertilizing their backyard introduces phosphates into the swimming pool, which isn’t good for the pool or the swimmer.
